The Butte Radio Club meets on the first Saturday of every month at the Butte Public Library located at 226 W. Broadway St. The next meeting is April 5, 2025 on the third floor in the conference room nearest the elevator.  The meeting will begin between 10:30 and 10:45 AM Mountain Prevailing Time.

 

An informal group meets up most Saturdays at Annie's Cafe on Front Street at just a bit before 9:00 AM.​

 

The Club usually hosts a 2 meter net every Monday evening at 7:00 PM local time on the Butte Club Repeater, 146.94 MHz, negative offset, PL tone 100.0 Hz.  However, right now the repeater is without power. While the Club works to get permission from our hosts, the US Forest Service, to do some wiring, the net meets on 146.94 simplex, no tone, at 7:00 PM local time on Monday nights.

 

Additionally, (when we have electricity) the club operates a UHF repeater with analog FM and DMR.

The Butte Radio Club is pleased to offer testing for all license classes on the 1st Thursday of every odd numbered month, with the exception of July. We are affiliated with the Laurel VEC and there is no charge for testing. Testing occurs at the Butte Justice Center located at 3619 Wynne Ave. at 7:00 PM.  You can register at: exam.preregister@ke7azb.com
